Knoll Cottage Access Statement

Introduction

We aim to cater for the needs of all visitors in our home-based two bedroom bed and breakfast. The following statement is a summary of our provision. If you have any specific questions please feel free to call us and we will endeavour to help.

Pre-Arrival

• The nearest bus stop is 1.5 miles away, on the A358. The 28 bus from Taunton to Minehead stops there. The service is every 30 minutes. We will collect guests from the bus stop if requested.
• The nearest mainline train station is Taunton, 14 miles away.

Arrival and Car Parking facilities

• There is ample parking on the gravel drive. The guest rooms surround this drive, so it is possible to park right next to your room.

Dining Room

• The dining room for breakfast is on the ground floor. The entrance is up two steps and through the double doors of a conservatory.
• The menu is available in a large font.

Bedrooms

• Both bedrooms are entered directly from the gravelled parking area. There is a shallow ramp, then a low threshold. The entrance door is 2'9" wide.
• The flooring is laminate.
• A cordless kettle is provided.
• Both bedrooms have en suite bathrooms accessed via a 2'6" wide door.

Grounds and Gardens

• The large gardens slope gradually away from the parking area.
• The entrance to the guest rooms is illuminated at night.
